Meet ORRF’s Nellie May, born on our farm 7/21/24.  AHCA registration #70434

This heifer displays a pleasant personality, has easily learned to take a full body brush, and is currently working on halter training.  She is an attractive moderately framed heifer who is structurally and functionally correct and comes from one of our best dams who carries a good udder as well as strong maternal instincts.

Dam is Katsina May from Skye High Farm’s very strong "May line" and Sire is Juke Box Hero who adds stalwart Highland genetics from Gusgurlach of Windrush and Sunset Limited Edition.  Juke Box Hero is proudly featured on the cover of the 2025 Spring edition of the American Highland Association Bagpipe magazine.

Nellie May has a wonderful full coat of hair if you want to show her or she could settle into your fold as an easy keeping breeding cow with good lines and genetics. 

 

If interested in a companion animal, we also have a red steer born 7/12/24 who unfortunately had to be a bottle calf, but he came through happy and healthy!  As such, he is VERY tame and sweet and we would love to see him find a good home.
